General Description: Under general supervision of a registered nurse, provides nursing care in a hospital-based outpatient department to an assigned group of patients with a complex oncology diagnosis.

• Administers medications safely under direction of physician or other medical personnel
• Observes, records, and reports patient’s condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians.
• Provide care according to an established nursing plan.
• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation
• Ensures patient chart entries are made accurately and in a timely manner and forwarding charts as appropriate
